1.The sensor can be mounted into a thermowellor directly into a process with the use of a fixed,spring loaded or compression process fitting.
2. The thermocouple sensors available forthis assembly are provided with a varietyof sheath materials including stainlesssteels, corrosion resistant and hightemperature oxidation resistant alloys.
3. Thermocouple diameters range from2 mm to 8mm. Standard diameters are 3 mm & 6 mm.
4.The thermocouple sensor can be springloadedensuring a positive contact tothe base of a thermowell bore.
5. Thermocouple temperature ranges aredependent on the sheath & conductor diameter,element calibration, and sheath material.
6. A variety of neck extensions are possible. Theyprovide a fixture from the enclosure (connection
head) to the process or thermowell. The standardneck extensions are the nipple-union-nipple or
the male threaded neck tube. These extensionsallow for directional rotation of the head for field
wiring as well as a positive quick disconnectionof the assembly from the process or thermowell.
